Interesting news from London via Telecompaper:
UK taxi advertising company Ubiquitous and technology supplier Track4Services have launched CabConnect, a free Wi-Fi service in London taxis. The launch customer is Microsoft, which is promoting the Microsoft for Business mobile hub in a three-month trial with 225 branded cabs. Passengers can access Microsoft for Business to learn more about the service or connect directly to internet. This is the first branded Wi-Fi service in a taxi ad campaign since Transport for London approved plans to install free Wi-Fi in taxis in December 2012. The system also uses NFC-based advertising.
Question you should ask yourself: how can you beef up your services and enhance the experience of your customers while someone else is paying for it?
