This week we are discussing principles of running and operating a successful taxi business. You can read about principle #1 HERE.
The last success principle is that the worst number in business is one. You always want to have more than one. You want to have more than 1 type of customer that you serve, you want to have more than 1 driver, and you want to have more than 1 dispatcher.
Why is this? Because it’s life and bad things happen. People get sick, things happen to customers and any of your employees may leave.
Don’t keep all of your eggs in one basket. Always diversify, always have more than one marketing strategy, always have a few people working for you, so that if one dispatcher gets sick, you will have a different one to replace them, and so on.
